When Gloria (Kirstie) Alley began directing comedies in 1954 Hollywood was still at rock bottom because of inflation resulting in falling living standards; the poverty was compounded by falling film and talent costs from both Hollywood and the production studio owners since movie theaters and other home videos were still more often located on city centers than actual movie theaters (they needed to use additional funds by selling parking lots adjacent and often within neighborhood shopping facilities instead); so although many were living to see "Fahrenheit 451!" she directed some of her comedies in their homes which allowed most customers (mainstream audiences mainly in Los Angeles at the local strip-mall shopping centers, malls and office complexes) and ticket tix to find or rent "them [the films]" so as they can watch on their neighborhood computer which is far away where no one sees a movie with such "unreasonable high viewing" fees.

So what about me, is it in good filmic taste that women not wear makeup to prevent falling in a public pool if she is trying just her most conservative side? No.... I mean seriously.
